A bicyclist who was fatally injured in a San Bernardino car accident has been identified as 27-year-old Jorge Alvarado. The San Bernardino Coroner's report states that this fatal bicycle accident occurred the morning of April 8, 2010 on Greenspot Road, near Santa Ana Canyon Road, in Highland, when the car going north hit Alvarado. The driver lost control of his vehicle, crossed over to the southbound lanes and struck the bicyclist who was riding along the shoulder. Alvarado was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
