A car accident in Los Angeles caused serious injuries to a driver on the 60 Freeway on July 22, 2010. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports that the major injury collision occurred when the driver of a box truck struck an Audi A4 that was stopped on the freeway shoulder. The driver of the Audi sustained serious injuries to his head, pelvis and chest. Officials are looking into why the driver of the box truck lost control and whether the driver of the Audi was ejected from the vehicle on impact. An investigation is ongoing.
