San Diego Car Accident Kills Motorcyclist
November 6th, 2009 | JohnA man was killed in a San Diego car accident after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car on Miramar Road the morning of November 6, 2009. According to a 10news report, the accident occurred near Camino Ruiz. San Diego police said the injured motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released.

According to California Highway Patrol's 2007 Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System, (SWITRS), there were 12 fatalities and 293 injuries involving motorcycle accidents in San Diego, California. Also countywide, 268 deaths and 14,641 injuries were reported as a result of car accidents during the same period.
