Question: I have a 99 GMC Sierra and the emergency brake hasn't worked for some time. Is there any way I can have GM repair this or do I have to just eat the cost of repair myself?

Answer: First go to your GMC dealer and ask them to evaluate the problem and fix it for free as a defective part. If they won't fix it (get their response in writing if you can), I suggest paying to having it fixed and then contact us to see if you qualify for being a part of our class action lawsuit.
