Home Foreclosure Fraud?
April 24th, 2009 | SteveQuestion: I need an attorney to sue Chase Mortgage Company because they took my house even though I explained to them their client had forged my deed and it was not his house. Is this something you can assist me on? I worked 40 years to have a lovely house and put $125,000 down just to have my loan officer and his friend refinance and take $275,000 cash out of it and let it go in foreclosure. Surely there has to be a law for victims? I was in litigation but the attorney only took my money, I stumbled upon your site and hope it was a good omen.
Answer: If someone took out a loan against your house without your knowledge or consent, than the entire transaction is void. If you will call my office and ask for Mrs. Wagenblast, she will assist you with a referral to attorneys who may be able to assist you. Mrs. Wagenblast keeps a list of attorneys that I know and/or have prescreened who have agreed to provide a free consultation to people I refer to them. We provide this service to anyone who calls us for assistance with pretty much any area of the law. Our work primarily is in the area of personal injury and defective products.
