The mercedes had only damage to the front right bumper and was still facing north in the northbound lane. The other car (which was going south) was on the sidewalk/drive way of a house on the east side of hewes upside down. The driver's side was smashed against a parked truck that suffered damage to the front bumper. The passenger in the overturned car was able to squeeze out of the car before helped arrived (from what i heard) and was seen holding a cloth to his head. First responders removed the driver of the over turned car (who looked pretty injured) and whisked him away in an ambulance first. The overturned car was pretty smashed. It was horrific looking. I am glad they all survived.

So how about regulating pit bulls (rotties, chows, etc.), like guns or motorcycles; you need a special type of training/license to own a pit bull, and you have to prove you know how to keep them safely for the privilege of owning one. If not -- the dog is taken from you instantly, and you don't get it back until you take the classes and get the license. Regulations like that should be welcomed by people who honestly support strong-breed owner responsibility.
