I met up with Dr. Jeffrey Gross recently. We talked about a variety of topics including sports, scuba diving, patient care and the important role a medical expert can play as a witness to a personal injury case. Dr. Gross is quite a special doctor in this way because he is a neurological surgeon as well as a medical advocate. He not only treats his patients, but he will testify on their behalf to explain his findings and opinions of his patients' injuries, prognosis and medical treatment that may not be easily understood in the legal sphere.

In fact, being a medical advocate for patients is embedded in "being the doctor" for Dr. Gross. He believes the two roles are inseparable and finds the challenge of representing his patients when the worlds of medical care, trauma, and legal issues cross an important opportunity.

Dr. Gross's qualification are truly impressive as well. He received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkley, continued on to the George Washington University School of Medicine, interned and completed his residency at UC Irvine, and finished his chief residency and spinal injury fellowship at the University of New Mexico. To date, he is the only spinal fellowship trained neurosurgeon in South Orange County.

If anyone is in need of a neurological surgeon in Orange County, I strongly suggest considering Dr. Gross. Further, if you are seeking treatment as a result of personal injury accident, and might have a personal injury claim, he may be the best neurological surgeon in California, because he will not only provide excellent treatment, but will be an advocate for your case. Most importantly, Dr. Gross loves being a doctor and helping to the best of his ability.
