California Car Accident Reports

Two people were injured in an Orange County car accident early morning on February 5, 2010 after the car they were in struck a traffic pole. The Orange County Register reports the crash occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Katella Avenue in Orange. Firefighters had to free the driver and passenger from the mangled vehicle. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Orange police officials said the vehicle was going west on Katella. But once the vehicle approached the intersection, it hit the traffic signal pole in the northwest corner. Police do not know yet whether speed or alcohol were factors in this collision. Two women sustained injuries in an Orange County car accident after one vehicle crossed into opposing traffic lanes and struck another, the afternoon of January 28, 2010. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, a 24-year-old woman in a Buick, eastbound on Santiago Canyon Road in Orange, went across the center divider and crashed head-on with a Porsche Cayenne headed west. The driver of the Buick had to be freed from the car and was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Porsche, a 33-year-old woman, was also taken to an area hospital with injuries. Read the rest of this entry »
