A pedestrian was injured in an Orange car accident after being struck by one of two vehicles that crashed at a city intersection. Two people were injured in an Orange County car accident early morning on February 5, 2010 after the car they were in struck a traffic pole. The Orange County Register reports the crash occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Katella Avenue in Orange. Firefighters had to free the driver and passenger from the mangled vehicle. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, a 24-year-old woman in a Buick, eastbound on Santiago Canyon Road in Orange, went across the center divider and crashed head-on with a Porsche Cayenne headed west. The driver of the Buick had to be freed from the car and was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Porsche, a 33-year-old woman, was also taken to an area hospital with injuries.
