Roselyn Mayen, 54, was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 99 in the Modesto area the night of May 21, 2010. According to The Modesto Bee, Mayen was a passenger in a 1994 Chevrolet SUV that was traveling in the southbound lanes of the highway. California Highway Patrol officials said that the SUV carrying seven people suddenly drifted onto the west shoulder of the highway and entered a dirt embankment. The SUV then rolled down the embankment. Mayen was transported to a local hospital where she died. Another passenger, 41-year-old Alfredo Caballero, sustained major injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
